Amber Aged Care is a provider of Australian Government Subsidised Support at Home Packages. We are able to provide the services that you or a loved one need to remain safe, well and independent at home.

Our Support at Home packages focus on choice and control and together we will design a package of services that meet your needs, goals and preferences. Whatever your service needs, whether it is just a few hours of housework a week or more intensive nursing or allied health services, we can work with you to develop a package of services so that you can live your life.

Our team can help with small home improvements, to help you live safely at home. For example installing rails.

Weeding, pruning, mowing, we can help keep your garden tidy and looking beautiful.

How do I know what Package is right for me?

From 1 November 2025, the Support at Home program replaces the former Home Care Packages scheme. After your aged-care assessment, you’ll be assigned one of eight classifications (1 through 8) based on your support needs.

Each classification corresponds to a defined budget, delivered as quarterly funding, enabling you to access tailored services through your approved provider.

Can I swap from my current provider to Amber Aged Care?

Yes, our team will tailor your package to best work for you and your needs, understanding that over time needs may change.

I am not eligible for a government funded package. Can Amber Aged Care still support me?

Yes. At Amber Aged Care you can purchase any of our in-home services privately,  meaning you cover the cost from your own personal income, rather than with a government subsidy. We will discuss your needs and tailor a Private Care solution to best suit your needs.
